Scientific Properties:
Lapis Lazuli crystallises in masses, cubes and dodecahedral crystals. it is a combination of minerals, primarily lazulite and calcite, pyrite is also found in higher quality crystals. It has a white fluorescence under ultraviolet light and will dissolve in hydrochloric acid. Found in Afghanistan, Pakistan, Chile and the USA.
Crystal System: Cubic (rare) mostly found in dense aggregates.
