Metaphysical Properties:
Malachite can assist in clearing and activating all chakras and is an excellent crystal for clarifying your emotions and releasing negative memories. It is a protective crystal and great when you're going through times of change as it can help to support strong emotional change.
Scientific Properties:
Malachite when cut shows a banding of light and dark layers with concentric circles, straight stripes and many other patterns. The green colour in Malachite is caused by copper and it is often found near copper ore deposits. It occurs in rounded nodules, grape shapes, cone shapes or as stalactites. Crystals are rare and occur as mostly fine - crystalline aggregates.
