Scientific Properties:
Rhodonite (Greek-rose), in addition to its red, pink and brownish red colours, it usually has black dendritic inclusions of manganese oxide. Transparent varieties are very rare. it is found in Australia, Finland, Japan, Canada, Madagascar, Mexico, Russia, Sweden, South Africa, Tanzania and New Jersey.
